Hi! This is Lucky saying hello to all my human friends at the Ranch. I’ve been at my new home for almost a month now, and I have to say everything is looking really good. My humans want to call me Daisy, so I let them. It seems to make them happy, and it’s OK with me.
Starting out, they gave me a nice bed on the floor of their bedroom. But I managed to convince them that there is plenty of room for all of us in their bed. That’s working out really well!! I have doors all my own so I can go in the back yard anytime I want. I love to sit in the sun. Feels good on these old bones.
Every morning we walk on this cool trail in the woods. I’ve met some good friends there, both dogs and humans. A couple of the dogs bark at me sometimes, but that’s OK. I pretty much just ignore them. I do love to ride in the car, and they take me with them most of the time. There’s no doubt in my mind that I was really needed here.
I think I’m doing a good job being a loving companion, and it sure seems like my humans are really happy to have me here!! Rescue Ranch was a really good place for me to stay while my human friends there looked for my furever home. And they did a great job finding one for me!!! Well, goodbye for now. I need to go sit in the sun. Your furever friend, Lucky (now Daisy).
