3 1/2 years ago, I drove down to Rescue Ranch from Medford to look for a new addition to the family, and found Guthrie — an adorable, enigmatic black mop — and adopted him that day. When I drove back to pick him up, a number of new chihuahuas had just been brought in… and I fell deeply in love with the wee-est one (whom I named Ruthie), and she joined us a few days later. They both quickly blossomed and have added such love and SO many snuggles to our home, which now joyfully consists of three pups, two kitties and an African Grey parrot. ๐ I have so much respect and gratitude to Rescue Ranch for all they do — their love for and commitment to their rescues are so clear and so abundant when you visit them, in all their actions, policies, and everything they do.
