Tiki our mischievous Treasure

Tiki was adopted in February of 2024. She was the runt of a bundle of busy Cheweenie puppies. Fearless, intellegent, highly athletic, a tad mischievous and beautiful, she has become the ” heart center “of our home. Blissful days ensued and she quickly bonded with her new big brother becoming inseparable within a week! Potty trained in 2 days !!

Unfortunately a few months later she had her 1 st grand-mal seizure. Terrified, we took her to ER, where she spent a night with IV’s, tests & given medicine. She underwent a battery of tests as her seizure activity became frequent and increased in intensity. During this time I became extremely close to her, as since her adoption, had been “Daddy’s girl”. Her veterinary team, gave us a treatment plan which was rigid yet doable. We became members of several “parental groups of seizure disorder canines” from options of holistic home care, and group discussions to homemade diet and exercise regiment. Her plan is successful at this time, and she is always on an adventure. She is affectionate and has enriched our lives in so many ways. Her nickname is the ‘Little Empress’ as she has a majestic stride and carries herself a such.

My gratitude to the Rescue Ranch personnel for giving us the opportunity to be chosen to adopt our girl. They sincerely provide loving care for these canines without complaint. THANK YOU !
P.S.( Her Rescue Ranch name was Sally Skull).
