We now have 7 rescues and have lots of land for them to wait until we walk them. Rocky (was Robby) is the sweetest dog ever. He became Rocket Man as he loves to chase the squirrels (hasn’t caught one). He has totally adopted me. He stays with me everywhere. I think in the coming months he will travel a bit more with the pack but he looks to me for certainty. We have had him for just about 3 months. I can’t believe he was at the Ranch for almost a year. We have lots of training to do but he learns quickly. The other dogs like him and he likes them but hasn’t focused on them as much yet. He is gentle and sweet and great company.
In Ashland I have run into many people at the dog park whose dogs are from the Ranch. I wish everyone looking for a dog would come to you. Rocky is our second Ranch rescue. The first one is equally marvelous!
We are thrilled with Rocky and I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual!
