Rya is a very sweet older girl, she LOVES people and a good nap. She can be a little skittish of new people, but essentially once you say her name and pet her, you’re her new best friend. She gets along great with cats, kids of all ages, and other dogs. She is a water and snow dog through and through, take her to the lake and you better bring her a towel. If you take her to the snow you’ll have to be prepared to get all the snowballs off of her belly, she can’t help but roll and play in it.
She does so well with grooming, you can trim all of her nails in about 1 minute with no fuss. Bathing and fur trimming she can get tired and just wants to sit, but she offers no real resistance. She’s a big cuddler, and is a great family dog. She does have take an incurin pill every night, and gets 1 raw egg on her food to go with it. She takes it to supplement the hormones that control her bladder, and she’s been taking them since she was about 5 with no issues.
She has also been known to wander, so you’ve got to keep an eye on her. But you’ll never meet a sweeter dog that just wants to hang out with you and be in your presence. She has a raised feeding dish, and a well loved kiddie pool that will go with her.
Her birthday is December 29th. And she was born in 2017. I’ve had her since she was 7 months old after failing to be a service dog. If circumstances were different I would keep her until her time came. But I’m hopeful someone on here can provide her the love and attention she deserves until her time comes. Which she’s given no indication is anytime soon, this girl runs around like she’s 3 years old.
