Ricky has a sweet, goofy and lovable personality. Loves being outside and around people. Is a true Pyrenees in the sense that he loves to roam and protect his space. He is great at the dog park with other dogs, but can try and be alpha in some environments. He is good with cats and kids.
He can be reactive when he has something of high value or when he is protecting “his territory.” If he is in a reactive state we have learned to coax him out of it verbally or leave him be.
We care so much about him and want to find a home that understands the Pyrenees breed and can provide the environment he needs. Ideally we would like a home with a good amount of outdoor space he can roam. He does have skin allergies that we have been able to manage with a small dose of prednisone prescribed by our vet.
