Posey is looking for a special home

Posey is a 7 year old AKC registered beagle. A perfect day for Posey would include exploring, swimming, a good brushing, naps, a car ride, a game of fetch, and ear rubs. She loves affection. She is generally responsive to commands (sit, lay down, off) and knows several tricks (roll over, dead bug, high five). She does NOT do well with cats and is unpredictable with other dogs. For these reasons, Posey must have a home where she is the only animal and can be the “queen”. She would do best in a home with no young children. She must have an owner who understands dog behavior and how to handle resource guarding. She is generally a quiet beagle. She is an indoor dog but loves to independently explore outdoors in a confined area. She is crate-trained.
