Chewy is a 13 or 14 year old English Springer Spaniel mix – about 28 pounds. He is in great health other than missing some bottom teeth. I rescued him from a Los Angeles shelter 12 years ago.
Chewy is still pretty young at heart and very smart. Understands basic commands, loves walks and has a good amount of energy for his age. One of his favorite activities is chasing bubbles. Prefers to have indoor access vs be an all outdoor dog. Most comfortable around woman but will acclimate to most others in time. Does not do well with young kids or cats. Does fine with dogs that are smaller or larger than him but not the same size. He does have a dominant personality and some resource guarding around food. He is incredibly loyal and protective of his owners. He is a very sweet boy who needs a kind and calm home for his later years.
