Mini Huskies in need of a good loving home! Found in the Umatilla National Forest abandoned and neglected, and fostered now in Richland, WA. Both have been recently spayed/neutered and are up to date on vaccinations. These dogs deserve a chance in a loving and happy home! They will crawl in your lap and shower you with kisses! They simply LOVE people of all ages! They are approximately 18-20 inches tall and weigh about 50 lbs each. The female is likely 2-4 years of age and probably the Momma to the male pup, who is likely just 1 yr old. She is very protective of him when they are around other dogs. She also shares her food with him and I’m sure hunted for smaller animals in the forest to feed him. Thus, they must be adopted together and be the only animals in the household. It is unknown how they would do with livestock. They are parasite free, cleared by our vet, and have learned to sit on command. They are learning to walk on a lead. We would keep them if we could, but they do not play nice with our other dogs.
