Aussie mix needs a home

Riley is 4 years old and was adopted from a Santa cruz shelter age at approx. 1 year old. An 84-year-old man had him for 3 years. His wife just died of cancer and Riley is too much for him. Riley is super smart, loving, and active. He loves running and herding ocean waves on the beach. He also loves playing with his herding ball. Gets along with most other dogs, but wants his human to love and guard. He’ll need a property where he can run and play or a strong handler on leash as he can be leash reactive. He is acting normal for his breed! His best home would have a big yard/farm, and lots of play time with someone to love.
