A big thank you to everyone who made “May Day! at Rescue Ranch” such a success!
Thanks! To all of our community members for attending the event, as well as United way and all of the organizations who were there to help keep the public informed on matters of fire readiness for themselves, their homes, and their cats, dogs, horses, livestock, and other domestic animals.
We’re also grateful to the wonderful volunteers without whom the event not have happened and the staff who pitched in, while also keeping regular operations going at the same time.
Local and regional media were kind enough to help us get the word out, including The Jefferson Exchange on JPR, Siskiyou Daily News, the Mount Shasta Herald, and KSYC.
KTVL News 10 even came down from Medford, OR, to cover the event! Here’s a link to that report: Are Your Pets Ready for Fire Season?
