We adopted Clover (formerly Pepper) last September and are so grateful to have her here with us. She spent the first three days with us terrified, panting and shaking in her crate. Wide eyed and unsure, we gave her the space she needed to adjust to a home with another dog, two cats, two rats, three people & a large parcel of property to roam. Within the first week, she opened up and revealed her loving, loyal disposition – a joy to come home to! We too have adjusted to a life with our beloved tri-pawed & make her health and well-being a top priority. We carefully watch her weight, so as not to put too much strain on her remaining hind leg. We make sure we take plenty of breaks during hikes and that her nails are trimmed on a regular basis to help maintain traction on wood floors. She’s been on hikes at the coast and in the redwood forests. She is an absolute love and we could not imagine life with out our lucky Clover. Thanks to the crew at Rescue Ranch for saving this little lady – you’ve enriched so many lives with hers.
