In 2019 we just lost our 3 dogs in the last 3 years. We were looking for a new dog to buy but then we came across the Rescue Ranch no-kill shelter and started to look on their website for small puppies that were adoptable. We called the Ranch and asked one of their employees any new puppies that were small. They said yes, so we drove down and looked at some puppies! There were these little pug/dachshund mix puppies that we liked! After a long time of thinking we picked one up named Brookie. A few weeks later they asked as to foster a momma dog and puppies, of course we said YES and fostered them. It was fun having little puppies and a momma around! So on top of my puppy, we were fostering some and they all started to go home one by one. Eventually the little rat was left and we took her because Brookie needed a friend and they were the perfect age in size to be Best buds. Here are some pictures of them now. Brookie is the tan one, Bonnie is the black one.
