Youth Training Team Camp!

 

🌞 Looking for an inspiring summer project? Want to get hands-on with our rescue dogs? We have the perfect opportunity for youths age 8 through 18. This June, our partner Meghan’s House Rescue is hosting a very special summer Youth Training Team Camp at the Rescue Ranch Adoption Center!

Youth Training Team Camp runs Monday through Saturday, June 15 – 20. A special graduation ceremony and adoption event will take place on the final day. Youths will:

  • Work hands-on with rescue dogs
  • Practice dog training techniques
  • Learn effective communication
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Gain confidence
  • Help shy and unruly pups become more adoptable
  • Demonstrate their dogs’ skills for a supportive audience
  • Present rescue dogs to potential adopters
This camp will raise funds for a very special cause. Mama Sugar is a nanny dog extraordinaire, watching over dozens of puppies who are waiting for forever homes. Last winter Sugar tore her right ACL, requiring immediate surgery. Camp registration fees go directly towards covering Sugar’s medical costs!

 

πŸ—“οΈ Schedule: Morning session is 9 AM – 11 AM. Afternoon session is 12 PM – 2 PM. For double the fun, bring a lunch and stay for both! Graduation day adoption event is 12 PM – 3 PM.

πŸ’² Cost: $125 per child for one session; $250 per child for both.

πŸ’» Parents may register online. Register early to reserve your spot!
