We’re really surprised this happy-go-lucky girl is still with us! Trixie came to us in mid July from a kill shelter in the central valley. At just eight months old, she’s really just a pup! She’s an exuberant dog who adores people and will try to jump in your lap while you’re standing up–just to get as close to you as possible. And did someone say cute? Look at that grin! If that’s not enough, Trixie is the perfect size to pack along for outdoor adventures and to snuggle with on the sofa. She is going to make some lucky person an awesome companion.
Though she’s very exciteable and never holds still for long (as our pictures show), Trixie knows how to walk on leash and to “Sit” for treats. With positive reinforcement she will readily learn other obedience cues as well. She loves meeting people of all shapes and sizes, but might be a bit enthusiastic for small children. She is also quite dog social, and would do well in a family with another dog.
