Are you looking for an active, rugged, outdoorsy dog to keep you company on your adventures? This eye-catching fellow has energy to spare! Walks? Hikes? Runs? Swims? Tocho will be right there. After a couple of adoptions that didn’t work out, Tocho is still looking for the right person for his temperament. We know the right home is out there somewhere. After all, who wouldn’t want to snuggle a dog who is softer than soft?
At heart, Tocho is just a happy, energetic guy who wants attention, love, and a big yard to play in! He needs a lot of activity and interaction to keep him happy. Without it he can get into trouble. He loves his toys and playing in the water. He plays exuberantly with dogs who can match his energy level. He does have a fairly strong prey drive, though, so we can’t recommend him to a home with cats or other small animals. He is leash trained and treat-motivated, and already knows how to “Sit,” “Wait,” and “Lay.” We are confident he will learn other commands as well.
Due to the fact that Tocho can be opinionated about who does and doesn’t like, we don’t recommend him to a home with young children. He would do best in a small family of adults with a large yard or some acreage to run around in. He would probably be very happy to share his home with one or more canine companions.
