Santa’s returned to the North Pole but he left Rudolph behind! Rudy, that is. Rudy is one of our resident Good Boys here at the Ranch. If you are looking for an obedient, intelligent, watchful, affectionate dog, this handsome boy may be just right for you!
Rudy came to Rescue Ranch as a young puppy and was raised through our foster program. He was adopted out at nine weeks old but made his way back to us when his family situation didn’t work out for him. Could you be the forever family he is looking for?
Rudy is a loving, anxious boy who needs a lot of reassurance that he’s doing the right thing. He so wants to please his people! He’s very friendly once he’s made friends, though a bit on the shy side until he’s warmed up. The flip side is that once you’ve gained his trust he is a friend for life! He loves to give full-body hugs and kisses and if he had the choice, you’d never be alone! He’s a bit leery with strangers and may do best in a small family circle.
Rudy is already familiar with obedience work and has had quite a bit of training. He’s polite on leash and would be a wonderful walking or running companion. He is dog social and might do well in a multi-dog household. He was raised around children but we don’t know how he feels about cats.
