Meet Reba

Reba3

Miss Reba is a wonderful, mature dog who needs a home where she can spend her golden years in peace and comfort. She first came to Rescue Ranch from the Siskiyou County Shelter as a stray last year, so we don’t know anything about her past. She was adopted and then returned because she was feeling too stressed by visitors to her home. She is an affectionate, loving, gentle dog who needs a small family circle where she can feel safe. If this sounds like your home, read on!

Reba is incredibly affectionate and trustworthy with her own family. Unfortunately, she’s leery around strangers. We think she would do best in a family without a lot of visitors. Her ideal  adopter will be a good leader who can help her manage her need to supervise and protect her family. Reba is well-trained and walks well on leash. She is up on the basics and a very well-behaved girl. She is polite with other dogs and might do well with another dog or two. Come on down to the Ranch to meet this beautiful lady today!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
