Poor Papaya! Believe it or not, this gorgeous gal has been with us her entire life! She grew up in our puppy program way back in 2022 and for some reason she’s been overlooked time and time again. She’s a humble girl, but when given attention, she blossoms like a desert flower. If you’re looking for a sweet, sassy lass to keep you company, read on!
Silly Papaya simply shines with other dogs! Having grown up at the Ranch, she’s extremely well socialized. She loves to romp and roughhouse with other pups and gets along especially well with confident males. She’d thrive in a family with another dog to keep her company. With people, Papaya is a bit more unsure of herself. She can be timid with new folks and men, but speak to her gently and she soon warms up. Papaya enjoys her on-leash walks, knows Sit and watches her handler for cues. What she needs more than anything else is a family to show her what life outside the shelter is all about.
