Monty did not come to us with a lot of training but he is a quick learner! He knows “Sit” and “Down” and with proper guidance will learn more cues as well. He is quite food-focused, which makes training with positive reinforcement a cinch. He walks well on-leash, especially with the help of a harness, and will make a fantastic outdoor adventure buddy. Though excitable, he’s eager to please and once he knows he has your attention he tries really hard to earn your approval.
Monty is social with other confident, high energy dogs. He’d love to find a home with another dog for a companion. He may be a bit exuberant for small children but we think he’d do well in a family with older children or teens.
