Meet Lydia

Lydia1

Lovely Lydia has a sad backstory but she doesn’t let that get her down. In fact, we’ve rarely met such a joyful dog! She’s looking for that perfect home where she can be the amazing companion she was always meant to be.

Lydia first came to the Ranch from a shelter in central California where she was scheduled to be euthanized. She had been found as a stray with a leg that was badly broken and never repaired properly. After a thorough round of antibiotics and no evidence that the bone was improving, our vet recommended amputation. Lovely Lydia has never looked back!

This zany, energetic, ball-focused tripod is looking for the right person or family for her uber-loyal personality. She is incredibly affectionate, deeply loving and endlessly faithful. She’d do best in a small family of adults only and no small pets. She needs a kind, confident leader who will help her learn some boundaries as well as give her an outlet for her tremendous intelligence and energy.

Could that be you? Call us to make an appointment to meet this special lady today!
