Meet Lucky

Lucky

Visit the Rescue Ranch Adoption Center, and you’ll notice a medium-sized black dog with a sugar-dusted muzzle woofing at you from one of the play yards. That’s Lucky, and she wants your attention! She’s letting you know that this is her second stay at the Ranch. The first time around, she was a young lady and she found a wonderful home, everything a dog could wish for. After years of love, Lucky’s family was forced to return her due to illness. Could your home be the soft landing Lucky has been waiting for? Read on!

Lucky may be a senior, but she’s as spunky as ever. She’s plenty spry and jumps at every opportunity to go for an adventure. She loves her walks and enjoys being the center of attention wherever she goes. She’s confident, outgoing, cheerful, and so very affectionate with her people. We think she’ll settle in to her new home quickly–she’s already house-trained and leash-trained, and rides politely in the car. Her former family said she’s a well-mannered house dog. While she loves people, Lucky can be cranky with other dogs. She says that a gal at her time of life shouldn’t have to share the attention–and who can blame her?

Lucky needs a home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. She’d make an ideal companion for a senior citizen who just wants a dog to shower with love. Call the Ranch to meet spunky Lucky today. You’ll thank your lucky stars!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
