Introducing LouLou, the lively, lovable, lighthearted shepherd! Can you believe this gorgeous girl is still looking for her forever home? Sadly, her life has been a bit of a roller coaster ride so far. From running as a stray, to several months of crate rest for a broken pelvis, to a couple of homes that didn’t work out, she’s had her ups and downs. As you can see from her video, LouLou excels in basic obedience. She’s smart and attentive, but she’s also eager to explore the world. She’d make a fabulous companion for the avid walker or hiker. LouLou could still use reminders not to pull on the leash–it’s hard to slow down when there is so much to smell! But she’s a good-tempered dog who loves adults and children alike. When it comes to other dogs, LouLou is on the selective side. She has a very physical meet-and-greet style that can be off-putting to some dogs. However, she is currently sharing a yard with a sweet-tempered male who is happy to let LouLou be the boss, and they’re getting along very well. She might do well with the right playmate, but she’d also be ecstatic to be the center of your attention.
