This week we’re putting the spotlight on Kia, a gorgeous pittie blend in the prime of life and who deserves the best home in the world. Kia first arrived at the Ranch in 2019 as a young mama with a newborn litter. She was a good mom and bonded deeply with her foster parents. Soon after her pups were adopted, Kia found a home of her own and her happily-ever-after seemed secure. Sadly, through no fault of her own, Kia is once again back at the Ranch looking for her forever home.
Staff members describe Kia as “a special girl” who prefers to devote herself heart and soul to a few chosen people. Though standoffish with strangers, Kia is the wiggliest girl with the biggest of smiles with her friends. She’d prefer a calm, stable home without a lot of visitors. As a loyal, watchful dog, she would make a fantastic choice for an adopter looking for a dog who will be both companion and protector. Though she has lived peacefully with other dogs in the past, Kia prefers her own space at the Ranch. She might be happiest as an only dog. As always, meet-and-greets with any prospective pack members are required.
Kia is leash-trained and loves to ride in the car. She is also an avid fetcher and swimmer. She’s a mature lady who’s past the zany puppy stage but still has plenty of energy for all the good things in life. We know the right home for this gorgeous gal is out there somewhere.
