If you’ve a hankering for a hound dog, we’d love for you to meet Khloe! Khloe came to us heavily pregnant and delivered a beautiful litter of puppies. She was a very protective momma, but we’re happy to say that her puppy-raising days are now over for good. These days, Khloe enjoys hanging out with her canine buddy at the Sanctuary, and makes the most of every moment she can spend with her human caretakers. Khloe is a good watchdog and loves to talk! She has that classic, deep, houndy woof and is always ready to pass along every item of neighborhood news. Once she’s had her say, though, she warms up quickly to visitors and is happy to offer her rump for booty scratches. She adores her friends and wags her whole body when she sees someone she knows. She’s a good-natured gal who takes her sweet time when it comes to responding to cues, but she’s happy to Sit if it makes you happy. We think Khloe will make a wonderful, easy-going house dog. She’s just the sort to be content hanging out near her humans or keeping an eye on the yard–enjoying the shade in summer and the fireside in winter. She’ll gladly join you for an evening stroll to the park, and maybe even a weekend trip to the beach.
