Junior is an extrovert who makes new friends easily with other dogs and humans alike. He is full of curiosity and eager to explore the world. But he’s intelligent and trainable too: he already knows to Sit for treats (with a little toe-tapping thrown in for added cuteness!). He walks well on leash, though he could use a little practice at not pulling. With the right guidance, he will quickly learn the more advanced obedience cues.
Junior would make a fabulous walking, hiking, or jogging companion for an active adopter. He’d also do well on a ranch with some acreage to explore. He’ll need plenty of daily exercise to stay fit and a large yard to run around would be ideal. He’d absolutely love to find a home with another doggo or two! His energy level might be a bit high for young children, but older kids should be just fine.
