Jasper may be the most overlooked cutie patootie at the Ranch! Though his raccoon eyes make him look rascally, at heart he’s a well-meaning Scooby-Doo who’s desperate for praise and attention. If you’re looking for an adorably awkward sidekick to join your summer adventures, read on!
Jasper is a long-legged, friendly goofball who wants to earn your approval any way he can. He can be a bit cautious with new folks (and makes an excellent watch dog). But outside the fence he warms up quickly, loves his cuddles, and never forgets a friend. He’s always happy to run through his tricks (Sit, Down, Paw) in exchange for a belly rub. Jasper came to us as a very young dog who had grown up without much kindness and no proper training. He’s come such a long way in his time with us! Though he’s still a goofy lad, he’s actually quite responsive to his handler. Plus he’s a super social boy who gets along with all kinds of other dogs, big and small.
Jasper would make an ideal companion for outdoor adventures–he absolutely loves playing in water, walks well on leash, and even rides nicely in the car. He’s also house-trained and crate-trained.
