Handsome Floyd has been with us for more than a year now! He’s still waiting for an adopter to come along and scoop him up like the treasure he is. Floyd is past the puppy stages but still young. He’s a sensitive, sweet-tempered dog, a bit shy around new folks but very eager for attention once he’s had time to warm up. He’ll be fantastically loyal to his adopter and will make a wonderful protector of his home and loved ones. He’s house-trained and walks well on leash. He listens attentively to cues from his handler and picks up new skills quickly.
Floyd is the kind of dog who would take a long romp by your side and then stretch out by the fire in the evening. He has been socialized with other dogs, and he seems to prefer females. He might do well with the right canine companion. We were told he knows about cats and kids.
