Gorgeous Floyd is one of our hidden gems here at the Ranch. It’s crazy that a dog this wonderful has been waiting so long to find his forever family. Floyd is dignified and affectionate without being clingy, a wonderful choice for anyone looking for an easy-care companion. All he needs is a yard to watch over, a comfy bed, and an occasional belly rub and he’ll count his lucky stars!
Floyd is a sensitive, sweet-tempered dog, reserved with strangers and deeply loyal to his chosen humans. He takes a bit of time to warm up but loves attention once you’ve earned his trust. He’s smart, house trained, leash-trained, and knows Sit, Down, and Shake. He watches his handler attentively for cues and is eager to please. Your praise is his biggest reward.
Floyd gets along best with female dogs but might prefer not to share you with another dog. While Floyd knows about cats, he has shown some prey drive toward them in the past, so caution is recommended.
