Fernando’s main goal in life is to be with humans 24/7. He adores attention and loves to wrap his big ol’ paws around his caretakers. But since the humans are often busy with other activities, Fernando’s second favorite thing is… rocks. Yep, you heard that right. Rocks. Fernando is obsessed with rocks! We’ve dubbed him our resident rockhound because digging up, collecting and showing off rocks is his favorite way to keep himself busy.
Fernando does best as a solo dog and wants to keep you all to himself. He walks nicely on leash and responds well to a confident, strong leader. Though he can be reactive around other dogs, he’s eager to please, intelligent, and excels in basic obedience. He has excellent house manners and is even crate-trained. Fernando even enjoys car rides! He hops on the mule tractor with his friends here at the Ranch whenever he can. Oh, and he adores little kids.
