Sweet, goofy Fawkex needs a second chance! He’s still waiting to be seen for the wonderful dog he is. This handsome boy was raised through our puppy program, adopted, and then returned through no fault of his own. Not surprisingly, he took a while to come out of his shell when he came back to the shelter. Thankfully, his mild-mannered, affectionate nature emerged as soon as he knew he was safe. Fawkex is a smart, sensitive boy who prefers to take life slow. He needs time to settle in, and gets overwhelmed easily. He’ll do best in a calm environment without lots of excitement. An adult-only family would be best, and he prefers women. However, men who are willing to earn his trust and older children who know how to be calm should be fine. Fawkex would make an ideal companion for an active senior citizen: he’s quiet and mellow, well-behaved on leash, and easy-going in the home. He gets along with other calm dogs who aren’t too pushy or physical.
