Introducing Donner, one of our beautiful reindeer pups! This lively, lovable lad grew up in our puppy program last fall. What with the flood of puppies arriving in our care over the winter, poor Donner–along with his brothers Comet, Dancer, and Dasher–has been a bit overlooked. The consequence is that this beautiful boy is still waiting for his happily-ever-after to begin. If you’re looking to adopt a dog who is past the puppy mayhem but still the perfect age for learning, we’d love for you to meet Donner.
Thanks to his experience in a wonderful foster home, Donner has already learned how to adapt to a family environment. He’s a smart, trainable dog who loves taking walks to the dog park and meeting new friends–canine and human. This sociable pup loves to romp with other dogs, and then cuddles up to his caregivers when he’s all tuckered out. He’d be an excellent choice for a multi-dog family (plus a playmate would give him an outlet for that puppy energy), but he’d also be happy as an only dog. And he’s already leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained. All he needs now is a family to continue his socialization and take him along for all the adventures.
