If you’re looking for a lovable, vivacious, intelligent dog to keep you company wherever you roam, we’d love for you to meet Clementine! This gorgeous girl is a graduate of the Rescue Ranch puppy program, and she’s back at the Ranch after several unsuccessful tries at finding the right niche. Clementine grew up around children, but her energy level and herding instincts are a bit off-putting for toddlers. She’d do well in an active family with older children or teens. The fact is, Clementine simply needs an outlet for her stamina and energy level. She’d excel in agility work, on the trail, or on runs with an athletic adopter.
Clementine is as good-natured as she is lovely, and has the will to work. She’s house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, and rides well in the car. She’s a vocal lass and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s tired of being cooped up! But harness her up for a run, and it’s beautiful to see her joy. She’s social with other dogs and a puppy playmate or two would help her burn some of her boundless energy. She needs a large yard to play in and plenty of daily exercise. We don’t know how she feels about cats but recommend caution with small chaseable animals.
