Brandy is the kind of dog who wants to be as close to you as possible. As you can imagine, that makes taking pictures of her rather challenging! This happy, wiggly girl will gladly crawl into your lap for cuddles–whether or not you’re sitting down! If you are looking for a friendly, devoted, intelligent, hardy dog to keep you company at home and on adventures, Brandy may be the perfect pup for you!
Though Brandy hasn’t yet had a lot of training, she’s showing us that she’s quick to learn and eager to please. She was very happy to work for string cheese in our photographer’s studio! She also enjoys car rides and socializing with all kinds of humans. She’s super smart and can be a bit of an escape artist–but only because she wants to be close to people.
So far, we haven’t had success pairing her with another dog here at the Ranch. Some dogs are too stressed by the kennel environment to get along well with other dogs while they’re with us. It is still possible that Brandy might do well with the right dog in a home situation. Brandy would probably be happy to live with children, though her energy level may be a bit high for younger kids. We don’t know how she feels about cats. She’ll need a yard to play in and plenty of exercise. She’d make a fabulous outdoors companion!
