Barrett is as sweet as molasses, and like molasses he can also be a bit sluggish. He’s a good-natured, affectionate cuddle bug with a pinch of stubbornness thrown in for added interest. If he’s feeling unsure about something, he just drops to the ground and refuses to move. Silly boy! Despite all the drama, Barrett has had a solid start in his basic training. He walks on leash, knows Sit, and knows how to wait quietly in a crate. Kindness, attention, and yes, dog treats are the way to his heart. He is highly social with other dogs and would love to visit the dog park. Given time and practice, Barrett will joyfully join in for all the adventures and make an unforgettable, loyal family member.
