Andie came to the Ranch during the Mill Fire incident and delivered a beautiful litter of puppies days later. She was a patient mother and a well-behaved guest in her foster home. Though she’s a princess at heart, her favorite pastimes are rolling on in the grass (so un-ladylike!) and chewing the squeakers out of stuffies. When she has a toy that she really enjoys, she hides it in her stash!
Andie is an affectionate, exuberant girl but not clingy. While she’ll happily absorb all the belly rubs she can get, most times she likes to know you’re nearby while she does her own thing. She’d love to have a large, securely fenced yard to hang out in where she can goof around or chase a ball.
Though it appears that Andie didn’t have much training before she arrived at the Ranch, she now walks well on leash and will Sit on a dime. She is usually tolerant of other dogs as long as they keep their distance. We can imagine her getting along with the right canine companion, but she might prefer to be queen of the house. Based on her foster experience, she appears to be tolerant of cats.
