Meet Ace

Ace1

Are you looking for an easy-going dog to keep you company around your home and yard? Then you’ll want to meet Ace!

This five-year-old Rottweiler mix just lives for the creature comforts of life. He’s easy to please: give him plenty of food and treats, occasional pats, and a sunny yard to hang out in, and he will be one happy pup. Ace was adopted a couple of years ago but recently returned to the Ranch in search of  a new home. He’s in his middle years, now, and is a pretty chill guy. All he needs is a place to call his own!

Ace has basic training: he walks well on leash and knows how to “Sit” for treats. He loves food, so training him with the help of treats should be a cinch. And if you need a little motivation to get out for some exercise, Ace can help: he’s got a few pandemic pounds to lose as well. He loves his walks and would make a great hiking companion. He also enjoys taking rides in the car.

He gets along with dogs who will let him be the boss, so he might do well with another canine family member. We don’t know his history with children, but to be on the safe side we’re recommending him to a home with older children or adults only. No cats, please.

If Ace sounds like the right dog for your family, come on down to the Ranch to meet him today!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
