Hasiko may have a salt-and-pepper muzzle now but she enjoys her adventures as much as ever. Walks, hikes, swims at the lake–you name it, she’s up for it. Hasiko has the classic German shepherd loyalty and might need a moment or two to warm up to a stranger. But at heart she’s a people-loving gal who soaks up attention like a sponge. She’ll make a steadfast watchdog and family guardian. Hasiko is house-trained and has excellent leash manners. She rides well in the car, knows her basics, and gets along well with other dogs as long as they let her be alpha. She does especially well with young males. While Hasiko would love to have a yard to play in, she’s an adaptable gal who will do well anywhere as long as she gets enough exercise. Swimming pools are a plus–Hasiko absolutely loves the water!
