If you ask our crew about their favorite dogs, our one-eyed husky Comet is sure to make the list! This goofy pup has sunshine in his DNA. As long as he has a yard to play in and a human to play with, nothing seems to get him down. He lost his right eye to glaucoma but he’s taken that in stride and is just as joyful and fun-loving as ever. If you have a soft spot for fluffy dogs, you need to meet our happiest boy!
Comet is a good watchdog but outside a fence line he warms up quickly to new people. He’s a sucker for treats and booty scratches–he’ll even help you along with his little booty bounce! Comet loves attention and makes the most of it with his signature joy zooms. What is perhaps more unusual for a husky is his desire to please. Comet loves to work for treats! He walks well on leash and knows his basics. He’s not a huge fan of other dogs but he did arrive with a female husky so we know he can get along with the right companion. His feelings about cats are unknown but he would probably be fine with older children after a proper introduction.
