Bosco, Rescue Ranch Dog of the Week

Meet Bosco,

Here at Rescue Ranch, our resident dogs have just one Christmas wish: to find a forever home in time for the holidays. If you’re searching  Rescue Ranch for the right dog, you might feel a little overwhelmed. After all, we have about 50 dogs to choose from! If you’re not sure where to start, why not begin with Bosco? This handsome, lively lad would make a fantastic companion for just about any family. After a couple of months at the Ranch, Bosco is still waiting to meet that special person who will see him for the wonderful dog that he is and take him home.

Bosco is a playful, energetic fellow who thinks he’s still a puppy.  And he’s right! At just over one year old, he still has plenty of puppy vitality. Like all young dogs, Bosco needs room to run and play. A large fenced yard would be fantastic! He loves to goof around outside with both human and canine friends. His very favorite game is soccer, but we think he’d be a quick study at fetch as well. Are you looking for a dog who will encourage you to keep active in the new year? Bosco would make a great walking and hiking companion.

This young dog is a lovely, sensitive soul. He’s shy with new people, but, when approached calmly and with a handful of treats, he soon shows his deeply affectionate nature. In fact, once you’ve won his trust, he’ll probably put his paws on your shoulder and give you a hug!

Bosco knows how to walk on leash, but the world is an exciting place! He sometimes needs a gentle reminder to pay attention to the person on the other end! He’s dog social and would likely do well with another canine family member. We don’t know his history with cats, but recommend caution when introducing him to small, chasuble animals.

Are you the family Bosco has been hoping to find this Christmas? Then come on down to the ranch to meet this cheerful pup today!
