We believe that our youth is the next generation of leaders in animal welfare.
To empower greater change in the way we care for animals, we have an active Junior Volunteer Program for youth ages 8 through high school seniors. Our goal is to educate these juniors about various aspects of dog rescue, as well as the future of dog rescue. We also strive to elevate their understanding of dog behavior through learning about the language of dogs.
To participate in this program, juniors need to attend an orientation where they will learn about Rescue Ranch and ways they can help with hands-on opportunities, such as, walking, brushing, teaching basic commands or just cuddling a dog.
Ages 8 - 18
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to apply. Junior Volunteers under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
