Food insecurity affects pets as well as people
In these difficult times, more and more pet owners are having a hard time making ends meet. They're struggling to feed themselves, their family, and their pets. Rescue Ranch is committed to helping the community in any way it can. Our Pet Food Bank offers free dog and, when available, cat food to people in need.
The Pet Food Bank usually has some regular dry dog food. We also occasionally have wet food, special diet food, and cat food.
If your pet needs food from the Rescue Ranch Pet Food Bank
Please come to the Adoption Center during regular business hours. It is located at 2216 E Oberlin road, Yreka.
We usually stock regular dog kibble. Please call first if your dog has more specialized dietary needs or if you're looking for cat food, to check on availability.

DONATE TO THE RESCUE RANCH COMMUNITY PET FOOD BANK
Help us keep our shelves full
Our stores depend entirely on donations from the community, and we don’t always have cat food or specialty dog foods like senior or hypoallergenic food. Kitten milk and cat food are also in short supply. We do get them occasionally but in small quantities, so they go fast .
We need your support to keep the pantry shelves full of our staple dog kibble for large and small breeds as well as standard adult canned and dry cat food, senior dog or cat food, kitten and puppy milk substitute, and other specialty diet options.
