Last year, we lost our beloved beagle of 15yrs. We searched everywhere for a pup to fill the hole in our lives. We drove to Yreka from Roseburg to see their dogs. Linus was the 4th dog on our “list” to visit. We instantly fell for this happy dog. He already had a hold on him for adoption by someone else, so we left somewhat dejected. We cried when we got a phone call a few days later from Austin saying we could adopt him!
We are so in love with our little “Maniac”. Linus has been such a joy! We love his enthusiasm and dramatic personality. He does everything at full speed. Call him in from the backyard? Full speed to the house. He wants to go outside? He bounces up and down in front of the back door. He wants to cuddle? He dramatically throws himself across your lap and flips over for belly rubs. Car ride? He leaps from window to window, trying to see everything at once.
For all of his exuberance, he is a love bug and such a good boy! He has never had an accident or destroyed anything in the house, even left alone for 6hrs a couple of times. He loves his blankies and floppy toys.
He still chases every bird he sees. The birds in our neighborhood entertain him (and us) by dive bombing him.
He constantly makes us laugh with his antics.
