We talked about getting a dog for a few years, but our house was on such a small lot, it just wouldn’t have been good for anyone. We were looking for larger property a little out of town, so the conversation came back up. We went to an adoption event at Petsmart in Medford on a Saturday, Mercy was the first dog we saw in the lobby, and we both fell in love right away. We had made an offer on new property, and had a closing date, but could not take her home that weekend. Rescue Ranch agreed to hold her for us, and when we were moved in enough to bring her home, Heather delivered her to us, helped us introduce our aging Calico cat, and walked the property with us giving us some helpful tips on our new family member. Mercy always brings a smile, she’s full of energy, but full of love and cuddles too. Thank you Rescue Ranch, for all you do, and for bringing this beautiful dog into our lives.
