Happy, buoyant Koda is everything a sledding dog should be. This magnificent boy may have been too much for his original owners (he came to us after a vet refused to euthanize him for being “too energetic”). But he’s nothing short of a delight here at the Ranch. In fact, his balanced temperament inspired us to match him with several of our adolescent pups. Koda is an excellent big brother, proving that all a dog needs is to find the right niche. If you’re looking for an eye-catching, dog-social pooch with that classic snow dog charm, read on!
Koda is a social butterfly who will thrive in a multi-dog family. He loves to romp and play with his puppy charges, managing them with the perfect blend of authority and playfulness. With humans, Koda starts out a little shy. But he’s soon begging for attention like an overgrown puppy himself. Never one to stay still for long, he’s hilarious and entertaining, with the selective hearing and independent-mindedness that northern breeds are known for. Koda is house-trained and walks well on leash. He’ll need a fenced yard (because–husky!) and would honestly do best with at least one other dog for company.
Koda just needs a family to appreciate him for what he is: a stunning ice king with a heart of gold. If he sounds like your kind of guy, call the Ranch to meet captivating Koda today!
