Josephine is my wonderful, loyal, loving, sweet and joyful companion. As a puppy she chewed up my living room furniture and clothes, shoes, eyeglasses, remote controls, you name it, but she has outgrown all of that. She loves all people, but only some other dogs, and used to be very aggressive to any other dog on a leash, anywhere in sight, but again, she has outgrown that misbehavior.
I live alone, but I am never lonely, thanks to her. She lets me work, watch TV, exercise, whatever, and just lets me know when it’s time to take her for a walk or fix her a meal. At night she will jump upon my bed to watch TV with me until I’m ready to sleep, and then willingly jumps down to spend the night on her own comfy bed nearby. In the morning, only after I’m awake, she will jump up again to give me a good morning kiss and joyfully begin the new day. Truly man’s best friend!
