Meet Red Red

If you ask the Adoption Center staff which dog is closest to their hearts, they’d probably say Red Red! There’s a very good reason: Red Red first came to us with a terrible injury and spent months recovering in our hospital crate. All through the ordeal, his wistful expression and cheerful optimism inspired all who met him. Now healthy and fully recovered, Red Red is more than ready for the rest of his life. All he needs is one special family to share it with. Could it be yours? Read on!

When first meeting new people, Red Red can be a bit on the cautious side (after all, he once had his trust betrayed). But he warms up very quickly and is so eager to connect with humans. He’s moderately energetic with a calm, relaxed vibe, the perfect couch and Netflix companion. But his happy zooms are a delight to witness! Give him a friend to romp with (he does best with female dogs) and he’ll even show off his goofy side. This gentle lad already walks beautifully on leash and is crate-trained and knows Sit. He needs some help with house-training, but he’s smart and eager to please so with patience and persistence he’ll get the hang of it.

Are you the person Red Red has been waiting so patiently for? Call the Ranch to meet our precious survivor today!
