Loving Mr. Dennis has been waiting so patiently for someone to notice him and give him a chance! He’s one of the ten dogs we transferred from L.A. shelters after the devastating wildfires. He’s flown a bit under the radar here at the shelter, possibly because he’s not eye-catching. But you don’t want to overlook this guy: Dennis is a wonderful dog and will make a fantastic companion for just about any family. Our staff love Dennis because he’s so good-tempered and easy to pair with other dogs. He does great with both male and female dogs and is even patient with our adolescent puppies. Dennis loves to romp and play, but he’s even more happy to be given one-on-one attention. He’s an alert watchdog but eager to accept new human friends–and he loves cuddles! His moderate energy level and medium size are perfect for gentle walks and other low-key adventures. He’d love to visit the dog park, and he’d thrive in a neighborhood with lots of canine neighbors. He’s a well-mannered lad who walks well on leash, knows Sit, and is even crate trained. What more could anybody want?
