This smiling boy is Henri! Henri is a Hope pup, and he’s spent his entire life at the Ranch. Henri inherited his momma’s silly smile and people-loving nature. He’s a handsome lad with the coloring of a regal bald eagle! Sadly, he’s feeling frustrated and cooped up at the shelter, and who can blame him? Could yours be the family Henri has been waiting for?
Henri is a friendly pup with lots of good intentions and plenty of puppy energy. His motto is “act first and ask questions later!” He’d thrive in a family with plenty of people to lavish him with attention. He’ll learn quickly in a structured home environment with plenty of exercise. Whether that’s playing ball, romping in the yard, or taking long walks or hikes, the more the better! Henri is over-bearing with other dogs, so while he may do well with a canine companion, a meet-and-greet is essential to be sure it’s a match. His enthusiasm might overwhelm small children but older kids should be fine. Henri walks well on leash with a harness, but he needs help learning not to pull. He knows Sit, and your praise and attention is his biggest reward.
