Finn is very intelligent and easy to train. He’s eager to please and he’s a sweetheart. He likes cats and our parrot. We adopted him at a local shelter about 3 1/2 months ago. We’ve been working with a trainer because he doesn’t like our other dog. Finn would do best in a household where he’s the only dog. He’s very focused on his people and doesn’t get distracted when walking by chickens or cats in the neighborhood. He sometimes reacts to other dogs on a leash but not always. He walks well on a leash and stops before crossing the street when told to wait. He’s energetic and athletic and loves his rubber ball. He’s also calm and relaxed when just hanging out with us.
We love Finn and think that if he and our other dog got along, he would be absolutely the best.
It doesn’t appear that we will ever be able to leave to two of them alone together. We’re heartbroken. Finn loves to run and play. He needs a fenced backyard with some room. He would be a perfect ranch dog but would be happy anywhere as long as he got his exercise and love.
